McNally Sends Maimone Home

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Nick Maimone moved all in for 49,500 over the top of a raise from Steve McNally. McNally made the call when the action got back to him with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. Maimone held the {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The {Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop didn't exactly make Maimone feel good about his chances, as McNally picked up top pair and a flush draw to boot. The turn was the {5-Hearts}, and the river completed the board with the {8-Spades}.

Maimone was eliminated in 58th place.

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Tom Middleton

From middle position, newly-seated table member Markus Gonsalves opened to 13,000. Tom Middleton was in the hijack seat and reraised all in for 118,500. Daniel Moorman was in the cutoff seat next to act and he moved all in himself, albeit for a slightly less 98,000. Play folded back to Gonsalves, and he couldn't believe it.

"You've got to be f***ing kidding me," he said. "Is this real?"

"Welcome to the table," someone joked.

Gonsalves thought for a bit, but eventually folded his hand.

"I'm not even going to shove you guys," he said as he slid his hand to the muck. "I can't."

Middleton tabled the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}, and Moorman showed the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}.

"I could be the best," Gonsalves quipped.

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{K-Hearts} to give Middleton quad kings and bust Moorman in 59th place.
