The two saw a flop of and Docherty checked to the in-position player. Mavritsakis bet the minimum of 600,000 and a turn was dealt.

Chip leader Declan Rice opened from the button to 1,200,000 and Tom Waters defended his big blind.

The flop of saw Rice continuation-bet for 1,000,000, an amount which Waters check-called. The turn went check-check before the appeared on the river.

Rice now saw a reason to bet again after a third check from Waters. The bet was 2,000,000 and Waters immediately called.

Rice tabled for two pair, and he extended his chip lead as Waters threw his cards into the muck.

Mavritsakis Doubles After Stack Dwindled

The blinds and antes are starting to get higher, and with four people left players have to put them in quite often. This caused Panagiotis Mavritsakis' stack to diminish to just 5,100,00. Declan Rice was in the small blind and put enough to cover that amount in the middle when Mavritsakis was in the big blind. Mavritsakis let out a sigh before he made the call.

Mavritsakis flopped trips on the flop, leaving Rice dead to a runner-runner runout. The turn gave him a chance to his one of those runouts in the way of a backdoor flush draw.

The river was red, but of the wrong variety for Rice: graced the felt, upgrading Mavritsakis to a full house.

There's always a sweat in poker, as they say, but Mavritsakis survived this all-in encounter to double up.
