Mark Johnston raised to 1,100,000 in early position before Oliver Boyce jammed all in for 6,200,000 on the button. Vidmantas Beliauskas tanked for a while in the big blind before folding, and the action was back on Johnston.

Georgios Tsouloftas raised his A♦J♠ to 1,000,000 chips in the cutoff and Stephen Groom defended his big blind with 9♣5♣. The pair then checked through the 5♥8♦10♣ flop before Groom led out for 1,500,000 on the 9♦ turn.

Tsouloftas called with his overcards and straight draw, and the river came the Q♣. Groom reverted to checking, after which Tsouloftas made a bet of 2,300,000 with his rivered straight.

Groom immediately called with his two pair, which were sent into the muck as soon as Tsouloftas' hand was tabled.

Johnston continued for 650,000 on the 7♥7♦A♦ flop and Ninh made the call. Johnston slowed down and checked the 3♥ turn, which prompted Ninh to make a bet of 1,500,000.

Johnston called with his top pair and the 2♠ river subsequentially went check-check. Johnston showed first and took down the pot when Ninh's eights hit the muck.

Tero Laurila raised to 1,100,000 as first to act with 8♠8♥ and Georgios Tsouloftas made the call with A♥Q♠ in the hijack. Oliver Boyce found K♣9♣ in the big blind and also tossed in some chips for a call, and the 10♠J♣6♦ flop emerged from the deck.

The flop was checked to Tsouloftas, who put in a bet of 1,200,000. Boyce snap folded his flopped gutshot and Laurila's pocket pair quickly hit the muck as well, seeing Tsouloftas extend his lead.

Eventually, he folded his hand to create a heads up showdown with Groom at risk.
