Kamber Off to Flying Start

Thomas Beer had open-raised preflop from the hijack before Mor Kamber three-bet to 2,000 on the button. Beer then made it 6,500 to go and Kamber made the call.

On the 2♥4♣9♥ flop, Beer continued for 3,500 and saw Kamber make the call. The subsequent J♥6♥ runout was checked by both players and Beer tabled A♦Q♠ for ace-high.

Kamber also played ace-high with A♠K♠, but her better kicker won her another pot as the PokerStars Product Manager neared two starting stacks.

Ho's Min-Raise Yields Results

With 2,200 chips in the middle, Tam Ho checked from the cutoff to Dmytro Stetsiura on the button, on a flop of K♥K♣5♣. Stetsiura made a bet of 800 before Ho raised to 1,600. An instant call followed from Stetsiura and the Q♥ was turned.

Ho sized down to 1,100 chips and another call followed from Stetsiura. The 6♠ river then went check-check and Ho's Q♦J♦ won at showdown.

Sapiano Gets Raised

Pieter Jelle and Albert Sapiano were heads up on a board of 7♦7♥6♥3♠. Sapiano made a bet of 1,100 from the small blind, into a pot of 3,500. Jelle then raised to 3,400 and Sapiano flicked in a call,

Sapiano announced a blind check before the A♠ came on the river. Jelle inquired after his opponent's stack before betting 6,100. Sapiano immediately folded to grant the pot to Jelle, who neared two starting stacks as a result.

Kitt Gets Hero Called

In a pot that had already grown to a size of 6,000, Thomas Kitt checked to Keith Cummins, who made a bet of 1,500 on the flop of K♥5♦5♥. Kitt made the call before both players checked the J♦ turn.

On the J♠ river, Kitt led out for 4,500 chips. Cummins thought about it for a bit before flicking in a call. Kitt reluctantly showed 7♠6♠ for seven-high, while Cummins won the pot with A♥Q♦ for ace-high.

Lee Wins With Rockets

Gerard Hickey raised to 500 from early position and Pavlos Xanthopoulos three-bet to 1,600 from the next seat over. The action then folded to Hak-Hyun Lee in the small blind, who made it 4,700 to go.

Hickey got out of the way but Xanthopoulos tossed in a call. The 4♠7♥10♥ flop was checked by both players before Lee made a bet of 4,000 on the J♦ turn.

Xanthopoulos called and did so too when Lee sized up to 6,000 on the 8♣ river. Lee showed down A♦A♣ and his overpair won him the four-bet pot.

Ainscough Shoves on Hever

A completed board of 8♣K♣7♥9♥8♠ lay in the middle in a pot between Ciaran Hever in the small blind and Anthony Ainscough in the hijack. Hever fired 6,000 into the pot of 13,000 and Ainscough quickly moved all in for 18,600.

Hever gave it some thought but eventually let his hand go, leaving himself with over 100 big blinds.
