Omar Eljach and Benjamin Alacam went heads-up to the J♠4♦K♠ flop where Alacam moved all in. Eljach also put in his last chips.

Alacam was ahead with a pair of jacks, while Eljach was chasing a straight. He pointed at the board pleading for help, but none arrived on the 6♦ turn or K♣ river.

Eljach stood up to make his exit, but a recount showed Alacam had 81,000 in his stack and Eljach barely had him covered. Eljach remained in the tournament, but only barely as he's now on an extreme short stack.

Dmitrij Fadeev and Marek Uharcek were eliminated at the same time on other tables.

Matthew Macioce limped from under the gun and David Boyaciyan raised the pot, moving forward his entire short stack. The three-bet was to 74,000 and Macioce then jammed, Boyaciyan called.

Yanovski Has Aces Cracked Short of the Money

Leonid Yanovski raised to 60,000 under the gun and Goran Urumovic tanked for several minutes before he called on the button.

Urumovic covered the board with his hands as the dealer turned over [108sKd]. Yanovski then grabbed the all-in triangle from the dealer's rack and put it in front of him. Urumovic quickly called.

Eldabach Gets a Bluff Through

By the time the turn showed K♣Q♥6♠5♠, Dorel Eldabach had bet 55,000 and Lautaro Guerra raised to 260,000 to force out any other potential players involved by then. Eldabach reluctantly called to see the 10♣ on the river and he moved all-in.

"How much is in the pot and how much is the all-in?" Guerra inquired. The answer to the former question was 677,000 and Eldabach was at risk for 465,000.

"You have too many chips," Eldabach grinned to Guerra, who folded a few seconds later.

Eldabach grabbed his cards and flashed the 9♣8♠7♣7♥ for just a pair of sevens and missed straight draw as he high-fived with several other players.

Piatek Surprises Himself With a Double

There was already around 200,000 in the middle when Sebastian Piatek moved all in for 122,000 in the cutoff on a flop of 9♦2♦6♥ and Joao Estanislau called in the small blind.

Hand-for-Hand Mode Underway

Jakob Madsen raised to 40,000 and was called by Ali Balci as well as Fahredin Mustafov in the blinds.

The flop came 8♦4♣2♠ and Balci checked. Mustafov bet 55,000 and Madsen called while Balci folded after a few seconds of consideration.

On the 9♥ turn, Mustafov bet another 200,000 and Madsen folded.

The Bulgarian then joked "big stack is a problem, you have a problem, and you ... and me. Better to be short stack, no problem," Mustafov grinned.

After the hand was completed, tournament staff announced that hand for hand mode was underway two spots away from the money as the action recently had slowed down a lot.

Eljach Climbs Off the Felt

Omar Eljach raised to 45,000 on the button, leaving himself just one red 1,000 chip behind, and Sebastian Piatek called in the big blind.

Both players checked to the river on a board of 5♣6♥J♠9♦K♣, laughing the entire time, before Piatek joked he was betting pot.

"I don't think I can fold," Eljach said, tossing in his last chip.

"Ace-queen high," Piatek said as he flashed A♥Q♣. Eljach turned over J♦J♥ for a set to double up his extreme short stack.

"We are laughing but I'm losing chips," Piatek said, still enjoying himself as Eljach survived near the money bubble.

Ziegelbecker Bets Big Against Oliver and Romero

Oliver took his time before calling under the gun, while Romero also called in the small blind.

"Three aces?" Oliver asked Ziegelbecker, who then turned over A♦A♥J♠4♥. "Motherf**ker. That's the only hand," Oliver cried out before he mucked.

Romero flashed the K♥ before he also mucked. "I had that beat," Oliver added.

"You're not making a lot of friends today," tablemate Sebastian Langrock joked with Ziegelbecker.

Leonid Yanovski vaulted out of his chair in disgust and by doing so, kicked off a side table that would usually have drinks on it. Seamus Cahill had doubled through him with J♣J♦3♠3♥ thanks to a fortunate river on the 8♣2♦2♥10♣3♦ to leave Yanovski short two off the money.

Fahredin Mustafov then doubled through Dorel Eldabach for 353,000 on the 6♦6♥3♥5♥9♣ river when his A♠9♠9♦8♣ made nines full. The Q♥Qx7♥4x of Eldabach were briefly shown.
