Diego Vilela Bubbles Largest LAPT in History

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

From the button, Diego Vilela moved all in. Rodrigo Portaleoni called from the small blind. Vilela was the player at risk holding the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. He was up against the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for Portaleoni.

The cameras flashed while media surrounded the table. Other players in the event closed in as did a few spectators who broke inside the ropes to see the action. The dealer then dealt the flop and the {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} fell to give Portaleoni a set of queens.

The turn card brought the {9-Diamonds} and that left Vilela drawing dead. The applause from everyone in the room began as the final card to the board was dealt -- the {10-Clubs} -- to seal the deal.

Vilela became the bubble boy of the largest-ever LAPT Main Event. Everyone remaining, all 64 of them, are now guaranteed at least R$9,570.
