We've been informed that 367 players have taken part in the Day 1b festivities.
Combined with the 284 Day 1a entrants, the 651-player field eclipsed last year's total of 621. It is the second largest LAPT in history, only behind Season 4's LAPT Colombia which drew 681 players.
Flavio Reis raised to 650 from late position and was called by the button and big blind. The latter checked the flop, opening the foor for Reis to continuation-bet 1,100. The button instantly put in a raise to 3,000, the small blind folded, and after thinking for about ten seconds, Reis grabbed a stack of chips and spiked it in the pot. The button shrugged and call off for around 6,000 more.

Reis had his opponents on the ropes with an overpair and never let him recover as the turn and river were blanks. Reis eliminated his opponent while chipping up to 28,000.
At the end of Level 3, Humberto Brenes raised to 600 under the gun. Two seats over, a player three-bet to 1,100. The player on the button called, as did Brenes, landing an flop to the table.
Brenes checked to the three-bettor who fired nearly the size of the pot, 3,100. He was unable to shake the button nor Brenes, leading to the turn. All three opted to check and when the hit the river, Brenes bet 5,000. The three-bettor called, the button folded, and Brenes confidently tabled for a set and won the pot.
The following hand would be the table's last as the Team PokerStars Pro is now in the main tournament room with the rest of the field.

A check from each delivered the on the turn where Csome checked again. Barbero bet 2,200 and was met with an immediate all-in call from the button for 1,125. Csome ducked out of the way, leading to Barbero tabling ., He was drawing dead against , making the river meaningless.
After two players had limped, the player on the button raised to 700. Flavio Reis was next to act in the small blind and thought for a few moments before three-betting to 2,275. Both limpers got out of the way, while the button decided to make the call.
The flop saw Reis lead out for 2,625, and the button simply mucked. It wasn't a huge pot, but a prime example of how Reis is slowly amassing a stack.
Nacho Barbero opened to 500 in middle position and was met with an all-in raise from the player in the cutoff for 4,825. Action folded back to Barbero and he called with . His opponent tabled and held through the board to win the pot.
