Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 6th Place (R$48,730)
Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu was just eliminated in sixth place at the hands of Carlos Ibarra. He'll walk away with a payday of R$48,730 and here's how the elimination went down.
From under the gun, Negreanu raised to 68,000. Ibarra flat-called from the cutoff seat and everyone else folded. The dealer ran out the 
flop and Negreanu bet 102,000 with 575,000 behind. Ibarra took about half a minute and then announced a raise. He slid out three tall stacks of blue T5,000 chips and made it 300,000 to go.
From there, Negreanu went into the tank. He thought for a minute or two before commenting about how it was a tough spot. He tried to chat up Ibarra a bit, but Ibarra only spoke Spanish. Still, the two went back and forth a little bit while laughing and having fun with it. Then, Negreanu reraised all in for 677,000. Ibarra stood up, took a few seconds, then called to put the four-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner at risk.
