Dmitriy Grishin Eliminated in 11th Place ($7,400)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Dmitriy Grishin
Dmitriy Grishin

Dmitriy Grishin raised before the flop, and Ahmet Ucali made the call from the blinds. Grishin made a 45,000 continuation bet on {4-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Ucali check raised to 575,000, putting Grishin all in. Grishin made the call, and the showdown was there.

Dmitriy Grishin: {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Ahmet Ucali: {K-Spades}{6-Spades}

Ucali hit his flush on the turn with the {5-Spades}, and there wasn't a card in the deck that could save Grishin anymore. The {5-Hearts} on the river was just there to make things official.

Five Minute Break

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Khoroshenin Doubles Through Grishin With Some Luck

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Oleksii Khoroshenin
Oleksii Khoroshenin

Dmitriy Grishin opened for 40,000 from the hijack, and Oleksii Khoroshenin on the button made it 105,000. Both blinds folded, and action was back on Grishin. We had seen all of this allready today, and again Grishin wasn't going to let go so easily. Grishin made it 175,000, and now Khoroshenin had the decision. After a little bit of thinking he moved all in, Grishin made the call almost instant.

Dmitriy Grishin: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Oleksii Khoroshenin: {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The window card was the {K-Hearts}, but the other two cards were sixes with the {6-Clubs} and {6-Diamonds}. The {J-Clubs} on the turn was a blank, and so was the {5-Diamonds} on the river.

Dmitriy Grishin is down to 555,000, Oleksii Khoroshenin now has well over 1.4 million.

One More Player Needs to Bust

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

If one more player gets eliminated, the tournament will be down to 10 players and the final table will be set. When that happens, the tournament will move to a new table, and the players will get a 50 minute break to grab something to eat.

Kiryl Radzivonau Eliminated in 12th Place ($7,400)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Kiryl Radzivonau from Belarus coudln't get anything going the last few levels, and was down to the point a hand like {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} couldn't be played post flop. It was all or nothing, and he decided it was all this time.

He got it in from the small blind, after Sergii Minaiev had opened from under the gun plus one. The big blind folded, and Minaiev made the quick call.

The tens were in trouble as Minaiev had {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. The {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} didn't leave much room for improvement, either runner runner straight or runner runner tens was all Radzivonau could hope for at this point.

The {8-Spades} spoiled that hope, and the {8-Clubs} was a blank. Kiryl Radzivonau exited in 12th place, 11 players remain.

Merymoglu Doubles

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sevket Yildiz limped the cutoff for 20,000, and Mustafa Merymoglu in the small blind shoved all in for 132,000. The big blind folded, and Yildiz called while already asking for a queen.

Yildiz showed {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} and was up against {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{J-Hearts} made Yildiz ask for a nine, but after the {J-Clubs} on the turn, even that card wouldn't help him. "Yes give him a nine" laughed Merymoglu. The {K-Clubs} on the river was a blank, and Merymoglu doubled.

Khoroshenin Doubles Through Grishin

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Dmitriy Grishin opened before the flop from late position, and called Oleksii Khoroshenin's shove from the blinds.

Grishin had {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and needed to hit against Khoroshenin's {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board improved neither, and Khoroshenin doubled.

Ahmet Ucali Doubles

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ahmet Ucali had been short for a long time, but just caught the break he was looking for. He shoved for 262,000 from the cutoff, and got a call from Dmitriy Grishin in the small blind.

Ucali had some catching up to do with {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} as Grishin tabled {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The {Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} was beautiful though, and the {5-Clubs} on the turn was even better looking. The {J-Hearts} on the river was a blank, and Ucali doubled up.
