The final starting flight of the massive $5,300 Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event begins today at noon local time.
Featuring a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, a total of 364 entries have come to the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel in North Cyprus through the first two days, with 194 surviving until Day 2. Dmitry Yurasov of Russia is the overall chip leader with 543,500, followed by Denis Vitchenko (538,500), Daniel Rezaei (516,500), and Yulian Bogdanov (511,500).

Now it’s the turn of a new crop of players on Day 1c that promises to be the largest one yet. Players will begin with 100,000 chips and play eight hour-long levels, with a 20-minute break every two levels. There is one re-entry allowed. Late registration will remain open until the end of Level 13 on Day 2. Those who make it through the day will join the remaining players from the first two flights, as well as any late registrants, tomorrow.
