Liklikadze Wins Big One From Chisu, Modena Takes Next

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Italo Modena
Italo Modena

Grigoriy Liklikadze was under-the-gun against the big blind of Danut Chisu, where he had bet 50,000 chips on the river versus the big stack of Chisu on a board of {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

Chisu was deep in the tank and eventually called. Liklikadze showed {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Chisu mucked.

In the next hand, Italo Modena opened the hijack to 4,000 and Alex Peffly called on the button, Chisu called from the small blind and Liklikadze completed from the big blind and they saw a flop.

The flop came dow {a-}{q-}{10-} and after it was checked to Peffly, he bet 8,000. Chisu called and Liklikadze folded. Back on Modena and he decided on a raise, making it 28,000. Peffly went into the tank and eventually released his holding, so did Chisu.

Naumov Eliminates Miral

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Can Miral moved all in for 17,300 from the cutoff and was called by Vladislav Naumov in the big blind.

Can Miral: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Vladislav Naumov: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Miral was dominated and there was no help on the board of {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} as Miral was out-kicked and kicked out of the tournament by Naumov.

So Near So Far-ah

Elie Farah With Marshall Card Marker
Elie Farah With Marshall Card Marker

Elie Farah bet 5,000 and was called from early position. The middle position called but Mohammed Mokrani bet 16,000 from the button.

Farah made a four-bet for 60,000 and Mokrani moved all in for 93,600. Farah made the call.

Mohammed Mokrani: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Elie Farah: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Mokrani dominated Farah and the board of {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} gave the Frenchman a boat to secure a double up and leave Farah with 16,100.

The very next hand Farah was all in again and was ahead with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} against {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} gave Farah top pair and their opponent an open-ended straight draw.

The straight came on the turn when the {8-Spades} was tabled and not even Marshall from Paw Patrol could save Farah as the {j-Hearts} gave them trips but it was not enough to beat their opponent and the Lebanese player headed to the rail.

Livshitz Open-Ender Gets There

Jeff Cormier
Jeff Cormier

With 30,000 chips in the pot on a board of {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Gabi Livshitz had checked from under-the-gun versus his table mate Jeff Cormier, who was two spots to his left.

Cormier made it 12,500, presumably in flow and Livshitz called.

The {a-Hearts} completed the board and Livshitz moved all in for his last 26,500. Cormier hastily called and it was an unlucky spot for the Canadian, who's {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} lost out to the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} rivered straight of the Israeli.
