The first day of the event saw 65 players register, but that number should grow substantially over the first few hours of today. Late registration remains open until the end of Level 12, which should come around 11 p.m. In last year’s event, late arrivals nearly doubled the field size on the second day so more than 100 entries are certainly possible today.
The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 9 with blinds of 1,000-1,500 and a 1,500 big blind ante. The average stack is worth more than 100 big blinds at the start of the day, with any new additions sitting down to a starting stack still worth more than 60 big blinds. Levels are once again 40 minutes long. The plan for today is to play until the money bubble bursts, with a champion being crowned tomorrow.
Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the live updates as the remaining players battle to make the money.
