Roman Kolotiuk

Walter Treccarichi opened to 400,000 from middle position before Roman Kolotiuk three-bet to 900,000 in the cutoff, leaving himself just 50,000 behind. Action folded back around to Treccarichi who moved all in with Kolotiuk quickly calling off for his tournament life.

Roman Kolotiuk: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Walter Treccarichi: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Kolotiuk was engaged in the most classic of races in a big spot but was left drawing dead after the flop came {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. The remainder of the board ran out {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} as Kolotiuk was cut down in 15th place by flopped quads.

Yaghmai Has the Goods, Dodges the River to Double

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Nariman Yaghmai
Nariman Yaghmai

Denis Kapustin raised to 300,000 from the hijack before Nariman Yaghmai, in the big blind, pushed all in for 745,000. Kapustin asked for a count before reluctantly calling.

Nariman Yaghmai: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Denis Kapustin: {k-Spades}{5-Spades}

Kapustin was priced in to call with his less than ideal holding but got some outs on the {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Spades} board as he made a pair and flush draw. The river, though, came the {2-Diamonds} and Kapustin handed over the double up to Yaghmai.

Maxime Chilaud raised to 300,000 from under the gun as action folded around to big blind Simeon Spasov, who called to see the {7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop.

Spasov checked over to Chilaud who continued for 300,000. Spasov again called as the {3-Clubs} fell on the turn.

Chilaud bet another 1,500,000 and Spasov used two time bank cards before announcing a raise to 3,400,000. Chilaud quickly called to create a 9,000,000-chip pot.

The river came the {10-Diamonds} and Spasov checked this time. Chilaud checked back and Spasov opened up {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for top set to take the massive pot and the chip lead.

He checked once more and Tantillo shoved all in. Aydemir, with 1,100,000 remaining, used several time bank cards before he called.

The river came the {3-Clubs} and Aydemir missed his draw to hit the rail in 16th place.

Boris Smuskevicius Eliminated in 17th Place ($19,360)

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Boris Smuskevicius
Boris Smuskevicius

Maxime Chilaud opened to 300,000 from middle position and Boris Smuskevicius called in the cutoff. The remaining players got out of the way to send the action heads-up to the flop.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and both players checked through to the {10-Clubs} turn. At that point Chilaud fired a delayed continuation of 650,000 which Smuskevicius called.

The {8-Spades} river completed the board, promoting Chilaud to move all in. Smuskevicius snapped it off but threw his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} onto the table in frustration as Chilaud turned over {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for the rivered straight to send Smuskevicius out in brutal fashion in 16th place.
