"Miami" John Cernuto - 7th Place
Sam Stein raised to 220,000 and then "Miami" John Cernuto reraised to 620,000, putting more than half his stack out in the middle. Stein reraised enough to put Cernuto all in and Cernuto made the quick call. The cards were then on their backs.

Stein: {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Cernuto: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The first three cards off the deck after the burn were the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to give Cernuto a pair of aces and improve his lead. The turn brought the {10-Spades} and Stein picked up a pair of tens. He would now need a jack or a ten to send Cernuto to the rail.

"50 bucks for a a ten!" yelled out one of the railbirds supporting Stein.

"Just 50 bucks, that's it?" questioned the floor announcer.

The dealer then burned one last time before dealing the river card. The {J-Diamonds} smacked the felt and nailed Stein with two pair. He went runner, runner to eliminate Cernuto in seventh place and is now over 10 million in chips. Cernuto took home $104,461 for his finish. The three-time WSOP gold bracelet winner now has nearly $4.9 million in career tournament earnings.
