Welcome to NAPT Mohegan Sun!

Welcome to Mohegan Sun for this stop on the North American Poker Tour. It's Season 2 and the NAPT is making a return to Uncasville, Connecticut after a very successful Season 1 stop. At this stop last year, Vanessa Selbst conquered a field of 716 players to take home the whopping $750,000 first-place prize!

This stop at Mohegan marks only the second of the season. The first stop was in the Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure back in January. The second stop was planned for The Bike in Los Angeles, but some legal issues causes PokerStars and the NAPT to pull out of the event, making this stop the official second stop on Season 2. It's expected to be a very large field packed with some of the best players in the world and we can't wait to see things kick off.

Start time for the $5,000 Main Event will come at 12:00 PM EST. There's only one Day 1 flight scheduled for this five-day event, so Salon A of the Uncas Ballroom in the Convention Center should be jam packed from wall to wall. The plan for Day 1 is to play through 10 levels with dinner break coming after the sixth level. That should get us out of here just before midnight tonight local time as the levels are 60 minutes long with a 15-minute break coming after every two levels.
