Fernandez Doubles Again

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Will Molson had the button and opened to 200,000 before Leo Fernandez moved all in for 2.57 million. Molson snapped it off and had Fernandez crushed.

Molson: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Fernandez: {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Fernandez found lightning in a bottle when the flop fell {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} giving him a leading two pair. Molson needed a queen, king or running pair cards to win the hand.

Neither the {j-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {5-Spades} were sufficient for Molson and Fernandez doubled to 5.16 million, snatching the chip lead away.

Fernandez Finds a Double

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Heads-up play began with Will Molson leading Leo Fernandez by a count of 5.8 million chips to 1.7 million. On one of the first hands the tides turned however.

Fernandez open-shoved with {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Molson called with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

The {9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop pushed Molson into the lead and his rail erupted!

How quickly things change though, because the {2-Diamonds} spiked on the turn giving Fernandez a winning set of deuces.

"VAMO!!!!!!!!!!" Fernandez's rail shouted.

The {8-Spades} on the river was just a formality and Fernandez doubled to 3.12 million chips.
