Leskowitz Doubles Through Ramdin

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

We missed the preflop action, but Victor Ramdin moved all in on a flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} holding {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and was snap-called by Bryan Leskowitz, who was the short stack with about 450,000. Ramdin was ahead but Leskowitz had a ton of outs, one of which was the {A-Diamonds} that hit the turn.

Leskowitz took the lead and didn't mind the {4-Hearts} on the river. He doubled to about 1.15 million.

Hachem Doubles von Kriegenbergh

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Taylor von Kriegenbergh
Taylor von Kriegenbergh

Joe Hachem raised preflop with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Taylor von Kriegenbergh smooth-called from the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. When the flop came down {5-Clubs}{A-Spades}{7-Hearts}, von Kriegenbergh checked, Hachem bet 118,000, and von Kriegenbergh check-raised to 280,000.

Hachem thought long and hard before moving all in, which von Kriegenbergh called rather quickly. The {6-} turn and {2-} river ensured von Kriegenbergh's double to about 2.5 million, while Hachem took a big hit down to around 2 million.

Ausmus Gets Check-Raisey

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Under the gun, Bryan Leskowitz opened to 80,000 with {9-Clubs} {10-Clubs}, and Jeremy Ausmus defended his big blind to see a heads-up flop with {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts}.

It came {4-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {J-Clubs}, giving Leskowitz four clubs. When Ausmus checked, he continued out with 125,000. Ausmus had just king-high, but he stuck in a check-raise to 300,000, drawing a puzzled look from Leskowitz. The bluff worked; Leskowitz released his draw, slipping down to about 1.1 million.

Von Kriegenbergh Kicked

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Victor Ramdin opened to 80,000, and he was called by both Taylor von Kriegenbergh and Jeremy Ausmus, both with position on him.

Three-handed, the flop came {2-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, and Ramdin led out for 150,000 with his {A-Spades} {J-Hearts}. Von Kriegenbergh quickly called with {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}, and Ausmus decided to let his {6-Diamonds} {8d] go.

That brought them heads up to the {5-Diamonds} turn, and now both players slowed down, checking to see the {3-Spades} hit the river. Ramdin had no intentions of betting, but he did call 300,000 when von Kriegenbergh took a stab. At showdown, Ramdin's kicker played, sending him the pot and knocking von Kriegenbergh down to the 2-million-chip mark.

Hachem Kicks Ausmus

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Joe Hachem
Joe Hachem

Jeremy Ausmus opened to 85,000 from the button, and Joe Hachem defended his big blind. Both men had an ace in their hand, but Hachem's {A-Hearts} {10-Spades} was dominating his opponent's {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts}.

The two men checked through the {J-Clubs} {K-Spades} {7-Diamonds} flop, and the {K-Clubs} landed on the turn. Hachem decided to take the betting lead, and his 100,000-chip wager was flatted by Ausmus. The {2-Diamonds} on the river drew another check apiece from the two men, and Hachem's kicker played to earn him the pot.
