Wasicka Takes Care of Cheadle

Don Cheadle had a lot of work to do if he wanted to survive the Second Round. With a slight chip lead on Paul Wasicka, he moved all in on a flop of {J-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {2-Spades} after Wasicka bet. Wasicka quickly called with {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts}, a hand that was big favorite over Wasicka's {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts}. Neither the turn {7-Spades} nor river {K-Clubs} improved Cheadle, crippling his stack to roughly 3,000 chips.

The next hand Paul Wasicka moved all in from the button and Cheadle called. Wasicka rolled over a pair of fours; Cheadle had two overcards, {Q-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}. Cheadle picked up a few additional outs on a flop of {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} {7-Hearts}, and then even more with the {9-Diamonds} turn. Somehow, he missed them all when the river fell {5-Hearts}. That card eliminated Cheadle from the tournament and sent Wasicka through to face the winner of the Rousso-Ivey match, which was just moved to the feature table.
