Bad Beat for Tang Before Dinner
A huge pot went down that saw Albert Paik dish out a nasty beat to Danny Tang. It was Paik who was the initial aggressor, making it 12,000 to go from early position, with Tang re-raising to 37,500 from the cutoff.
Tang had been active in a few pots from late position and this may have been going through Paik's mind when he opted to pull the trigger. Tang called immediately and the cards were turned over.

Paik was at risk and behind but the flop was just what he was looking for. The turn completed his flush and the river saw Paik double to 560,000. Tang took the hit stoically like the professional he is, but will have been happy to go on the 40-minute dinner break, which the final nine players headed off on not long after the hand.
