Hong Gets A Double

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Xuechun Hong's Main Event must have got off to a rocky start in Level 1. However, Level 2 has proved kinder, and he's just doubled up to 38,000.

Picking up the action on a {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop, Hong had checked before a player led for 1,000 and another called. Hong then three-bet to 4,000, and after one fold and one call it went heads-up to a {10-Hearts} turn. Hong continued to fire for 7,100 which was called, and then jammed all-in for 7,350 on the {6-Spades} river.

His opponent - who for now will remain nameless - called quickly, and Hong almost looked like he was ready to muck. Eventually though he'd show his {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flopped two pair, and his opponent would muck, dropping to just 5,000.
