More Chips For Cheerful Chen

Chuanshu Chen has added even more to his stack, courtesy of a bluff by Yuefeng Pan.

There was a modest pot out there and a board of when we arrived. Pan had checked, and Chen led for 25,000 which was then check-raised to 110,000. Chen was thinking for a minute before making the call, bringing the river, double pairing the board.

Pan checked this time and Chen would check it back. Pan showed for a gutshot draw that missed, and Chen revealed for lucky eights that flopped a full house.

Chen was pretty happy after that win (I think he said something along the lines of 'I thought you had a king'), and he's up to 1.4 million now while Pan dips to 490,000.
