Chen Busts to Zhou
We missed the majority of the action as we were watching Austin Walton and Chang Bo Feng tangle in a hand (which we shall get to shortly) but Chuanshu Chen's tournament has come to a close, with Xiaobo Zhou the closer.
Chen was one of the shorter stacks and got his last 290,000 in the middle with pocket queens and was looked up by Zhou with ace-king. Chen lost the classic race and headed for the rail in 13th place, with HKD $86,600 for his troubles, while Zhou stacked up to 1,650,000.
With regards to the Feng vs Walton hand, it had all the potential to be a big one but disappointingly fizzled out. It was Feng the man initially driving the action with a raise to 75,000 from the cutoff, with Walton shoving the button for 935,000. Feng thought long and hard and seemed on the fence about calling or folding, eventually deciding on the latter, leaving Walton to scoop the pot unopposed.
