Leow Edges Forward, Pan Fights Back
Level 25
: 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Ivan Leow claimed a big pot from Yuefeng Pan when his 300,000 river bet on an ace-high board was called. Leow showed , and Pan mucked, giving Leow a 3.2 million chip lead.
Pan would begin to fight back though, opening to 70,000 under the gun and getting two callers in Xiaobo Zhou in the hijack and Leow in the big blind. The flop fell and Pan continued for 125,000 when it checked to him, which only Zhou would call. That took them to a turn card, on which Pan moved all-in for 455,000. Zhou gave it some thought, but didn't want to dance with his hand.
Pan is back up to 950,000 now, while Zhou has 1.25 million.
