Choppy McChop

Vladmir Geshkenbein raised preflop and David Steicke called.

Both players checked the {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} flop before Steicke check-called a bet of 2,100 on the {Q-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {A-Hearts} and Steicke check-called again, this time to the tune of 4,400.

Geshkenbein showed {J-Clubs} {10-Hearts} but he was chopping against Steicke's {J-Spades} {7-Clubs}.

Phoney War

A few raises but nothing major has happened.

A raise to 500 from Veldhuis was called by Schwartz but they checked the {10-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {5-Clubs} {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} board to the river where Schwartz bet 800 to win.

A couple of hands later and Schwartz raised to 450, which Veldhuis called. Veldhuis led out for 650 on the {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs} flop and Schwartz folded.

We're Jammin'

"Lexcellent..."
"Lexcellent..."
Luke Schwartz raises to 450, Lex Veldhuis reraises to about 1,600 but we found it hard to tell because Schwartz immediately pushed all-in for his 21,000 or so and Veldhuis called even quickler.

Schwartz: {7-Spades} {7-Clubs}
Veldhuis: {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades}

The board came {K-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {5-Clubs}, both players making sets but Veldhuis was holding top set to win.

Schwartz has about 1,500 left which means Veldhuis has about 38,500 but the blinds are still 100/200.

Schwartz Doubles

Luke Schwartz moved all-in for his last 1,500. Veldhuis quickly called.

Schwartz: {Q-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}
Veldhuis: {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} but Schwartz remained unconvinced, "Bring on the turn!" he said...

The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and now Veldhuis needed a ten but the river was the {9-Hearts} instead and Schwartz now has 3,000 to Veldhuis' 37,000.
