Use The Schwartz Luke!

Luke Schwartz is going for a major comeback, after picking up several pots to boost himself up to 7,700 he's just doubled up again.

Veldhuis: {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs}
Schwartz: {A-Spades} {K-Spades}

A board of {6-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {9-Spades} {2-Hearts} {4-Spades} means 'FullFlush' has bounced all the way back up to 15,400.

Game on...

Position The Key...

Veldhuis raises to 775 and Schwartz calls but then folds to the Dutchman's bet on a {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {5-Clubs} flop.

Then Schwartz raises to 800 on the button, Veldhuis calls and then calls another 800 on the {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} {3-Diamonds} flop, but folds to a 2,200 bet on the {3-Clubs} turn.

Moving At A More Leisurely Pace

Vicky Coren and Juha Helppi have just started their match. Helppi wanted a little delay as he hadn't eaten since he had come straight from the Poker Million heat across town.

This match will probably be moving a bit slower.

Schwartz L-exits Stage Right: Lex Veldhuis Eliminates Luke Schwartz

Luke Schwartz raised to 800 and Veldhuis reraised to 2,300. Schwartz thought for a second before folding then said, "I knew that was coming too, I folded an ace..."

"Really?" said a smiling but slightly shocked Veldhuis, "I figured I had to 3-bet some s**t before I get kings again."

A couple of hands later and Schwartz raised to 800, Veldhuis reraised to 2,300 and Schwartz moved all-in. Instant call.

Schwartz: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}
Veldhuis: {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

Veldhuis, "It would be pretty sick to lose another coinflip..."

"Just put some paint out there please dealer..." said Schwartz

The board came out {3-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {5-Spades} {J-Clubs} {10-Spades} and Veldhuis triumphs!

Raise And Take It

It's very much a waiting game in the match between Vicky Coren and Juha Helppi, the last five hands there were no flops seen. The button either raising to win the blinds or folding preflop.

Both players seem very patient.

Actual Flop!

Vicky Coren raised to 750 and Juha Helppi called. A flop!

Helppi checked the {Q-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs} before check-raising her 1,100 bet to 3,200 to take the pot down.

Still Awaiting The Fireworks

We need November 5th to come early here for some fireworks in this match.

Helppi raises to 750 but folds when Coren makes it 2,300.

Next hand and Coren makes it 750, Helppi calls but they check the {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts} board to the river where Coren bets 1,000 to take it down.
