Surveying the Room
It's been a relatively quiet Level 16, with a couple of skirmishes and a few eliminations, though the pace of play has slowed somewhat as we near the next break. At the moment 24 remain, gathered around three eight-handed tables.
Over at Table 34, Edward Pham and Richard Allen have the big stacks with about 275,000 each. Meanwhile, Coury Mascagni continues to battle with a below average stack of about 120,000, while Jennifer So — the last woman standing — has a little less than that.
Table 40 has been the most talkative table by far among the final three, with Micah Raskin and Vince Baldassano leading the often entertaining table talk over the last hour. Raskin and Klodnicki are the big stacks there, each with more than 400,000, while John Chapman is on the short side with less than 100,000.
And over at Table 41, Daniel Wach leads the way with more than 450,000 while Alan Kraut is on the short side with about 105,000.
