Hand 14

Hellmuth made a minimum raise from the small blind with {A-Spades}{7-Spades} and got called by Vicky Coren holding {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Hellmuth bet 8,000 in the dark before the flop of {6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}.
Coren called.

Turn: {2-Diamonds} and both checked.
River: {4-Hearts} and both checked.

Vicky showed the pair of nines and Phil gave us all a history lesson.
"That's my hand. Two black nines, she's using my own weapons against me!"

Hellmuth won his first bracelet (which of course he is wearing today) with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} against Johnny Chan with - amazingly - {A-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Hand 15

Juha Helppi raises to 6,000 with {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Marcel Luske cold calls with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} in the small blind and Hellmuth makes a squeeze-play in the big blind to 20,000 with {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Helppi folds then Luske moves all in for Hellmuth's last 52,000 and obviously Hellmuth couldn't call.

The Poker Brat has done everything wrong so far and at this stage he is a big favorite to get the bagel.

Hand 16

Luske limped in with {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Hellmuth raised to 7,000 with {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Luske called.

Flop: {4-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Luske checked and Hellmuth bet 7,000. Luske made the call.

Turn: {10-Clubs}
Luske checked again and Hellmuth checked behind.

River: {9-Clubs}
Luske checked, Hellmuth fired a bullet for 11,000 and took it down.

Hand 17

Phil Hellmuth struggling.
Phil Hellmuth struggling.
Hellmuth limps in with {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Scharf picks up {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and raises to 10,000. It's folded to Hellmuth, who calls immediately and checks dark before the flop.

Flop: {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Scharf bets 17,000.

Hellmuth: "This could be it baby. It could be time for Phil to go."

Hellmuth folds.

Hand 18

Hellmuth raised to 5,000 with {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Luske made the call with {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} in the big blind.

Flop: {6-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Hellmuth bet 7,000 and took it down.

Hand 19: Ace is Good

Luske completes the small blind with {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Hellmuth chose not to raise from the big blind with {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

Both players check twice on the {4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board, then Luske bets 3000 on the {3-Clubs} on the river. Hellmuth calls.

Hand 20

Ian Frazer
Ian Frazer
Frazer raised to 7,000 with {10-Hearts}{8-Spades} and got a call from Luske holding {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Flop: {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and both checked.

Turn: {5-Diamonds}
Frazer checked and Luske bet 9,000. Frazer made the call.

River: {J-Clubs}
Frazer led out for 17,000, bluffing with the best hand, and took it down.

Hand 21

Frazer limps in first position with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. It's folded to Coren who completes the small blind with {A-Spades}{7-Spades} and Scharf checks with {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

Flop {K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and everyone checks.

Turn is the {6-Hearts} and Eddie Scharf takes it down with worst hand betting 6,000. Frazer shose to fold the nut-flush draw.

Hand 23

Coren opened with a raise to10,000 holding {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and won the blinds, with Ian Frazer to folding {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} from the small blind.
