Playoff Scenarios
Both players are guaranteed a seat at the final table, but both will want to begin the big game as chip leader so it promises to be a cracking game.
Roland de Wolfe in third place with 20 points will at least be in the playoffs now and he is in prime position to cruise to the final table. Because Scharf and Kravchenko (17 pts each) both play in Heat 11, de Wolfe will secure his seat in the final with 5 points, but may not need that may if other results go his way.
Annie Duke moves up to fourth. She has 18 points, meaning that Helppi (9 pts), Frazer (9 pts), and Hellmuth (5 pts) cannot overtake her and at best they can reach the heads-up playoff stages. Devilfish (10 pts) needs other results to go his way to stand a chance of playing on Sunday.
Assuming Duke earns at least one league point tomorrow, she is guaranteed at least a playoff spot, and the final two automatic seats in the final will be contested between Coren, de Wolfe, Duke, Luske, Kravchenko and Scharf.
