De Wolfe Finishes Frazer

The chips went in the middle preflop. Roland De Wolfe was holding {a-Spades}{4-Spades} against Ian Frazer's {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}.

De Wolfe's win in Match 3 gave him the last remaining seat in the Final Table. He'll be joining Phil Laak, David Benyamine, Giovanni Safina, Luke Schwartz, and Daniel Negreanu.

De Wolfe Takes the Lead

Roland De Wolfe raised it up to 6,000 with {10-Spades}{4-Spades} and was called by Ian Frazer with {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

De Wolfe bet 10,000 on the {9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and was called by Frazer.

The two checked the {a-Hearts} turn.

De Wolfe Storms Off; Frazer Upset Wants To Start Match #3

Where is Darth Vader today?
Where is Darth Vader today?
After Ian Frazer hit the queen on the river to clinch match #2, Roland De Wolfe stormed off the set and out of the Ravello bar. Ian Frazer immediately called the tournament directors, and producers to let them know there was suppose to be no break between matches. He is trying to keep the action moving, as it's obvious that De Wolfe is steaming.

The producers quickly reigned De Wolfe back to the table, and the third match is now underway.

Phil Hellmuth is claiming this is very much like a boxing match, where one opponent has the other on the ropes. In boxing the combatant is not allowed to jump out of the ring for a break, and as Hellmuth says in this format of poker the players should get no break either when they are on the ropes.

On a side note, Phil Hellmuth is singing Pink Floyd in the booth.

Frazer Leading Match #2

So there has been a lot of back and forth in match #2 so far, but things have swinging primarily in Frazer's direction. Both players have been missing most of the flops, and it's been whoever takes the aggressive line winning the pots.

Chip Counts:

Ian Frazer - 127,000
Roland De Wolfe - 63,000
