Don Cheadle Bests Tough Shootout Table to Advance to Final
Acclaimed actor Don Cheadle has been nominated for multiple awards across more than 30 years in the industry.
The Kansas City-born performer already has credits such as "Boogie Nights," "Swordfish," and "Ocean's Eleven" under his belt when he broke through with an Oscar-nominated turn in "Hotel Rwanda" and followed up with "Crash." Since then, he's become a staple in the Marvel Avengers series as James Rhodes (AKA War Machine).
Cheadle's poker endeavors include helping to organize the Ante Up for Africa series at the World Series of Poker. He also appeared alongside fellow actor Jason Alexander and former baseball star Orel Hershiser in an episode of "Poker After Dark," ultimately finishing runner-up to the late Gavin Smith.
Cheadle used his experience to win his shootout table, which meant besting the likes of Michael Cera, Amy Schumer, Jon Hamm, Jeff Garlin, and Brad Garret. He moved on to the final.
