There are currently 21 players left from the 41 that started today. When we reach 16 players, a re-draw will take place. Unfortunately, the following players have been eliminated and they have cashed €1,750 in total today:
It was a rough orbit for Golden Chip holder Pavel Chalupka. He doubled up Ela Kubincova blind on blind, his failing to hold, or even earn a chop versus as Kubincova made a flush on the runout.
The hand after that, he shoved his remaining 1,100,000 from the small blind, with Rene Wolech agreeing to call without looking. Wolech's hit a pair in the window, but ultimately fell short on the runout, as Chalupka doubled back up.
The very next hand, action was folded to Chalupka's button, where he moved all-in, followed quickly by Wolech in the small blind. Leventa Muszi couldn't believe his eyes as he looked down at closing the action in the big blind, confidently announcing "call." Chalupka's was in last place, as Wolech tabled , but both players were drawing dead on a flop. The dealer made absolutely sure of the outcome, putting another on the turn, giving Muszi quads, and the 12,000,000-chip pot.
Chalupka and Wolech both take home €1,750, as the field drops to just 18 players.
The floor was called to Table #37 for the clock. On the table, we could see that Levente Muszi and Gabor Bodnar had gone all-in and the decision was on Dragan Zaric to call or not. Even before the floor could get to the table, Zaric had called.
Dragan Zaric:
Levente Muszi:
Gabor Bodnar:
The board ran out - Zaric hit the ten on the flop for a set of tens and he eliminated Bodnar and left Muszi with almost 3,500,000 behind.
