Metalidi Loses Battle to Petrov

Level 4 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Igor Yaroshevskyy raised to 25,000 from under the gun and when the action got around to Anton Petrov in middle position he three-bet to 82,000. Artem Metalidi was in the cutoff and decided to four-bet to 177,000. Yaroshevskyy let his hand go when the action got to him, and Petrov made the call.

The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}, and after Petrov had checked, Metalidi bet small for 60,000 which was met with a call.

The turn brought the {q-Spades}, and both players checked to see a {9-Clubs} river. The action went check-check once more, and after Petrov had flipped over {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for two pair, Metalidi mucked.

Metalidi Doubles Up Avramenko

Level 3 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sergey Rybachenko opened the action with a raise from under the gun, and when the action folded around to Alexey Avramenko in the hijack, he moved all in for 240,000. Artem Metalidi was in the small blind and four-bet to 350,000 after he got confirmation of the all-in amount.

Rybachenko quickly folded and flipped over ace-jack off-suit, and the other two players revealed their hands for the showdown.

Alexey Avramenko: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Artem Metalidi: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Board: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}

Avramenko found the ace he needed in the window and hit two pair on the flop. WSOP Main Event final tablist Metalidi was unable to spike a jack and surrender part of his stack to Avramenko who survived in unlikely fashion.
