In quite brutal blind-on blind-action, everyone on the table folded to Kevin Frame in the small blind, and he shoved on Daniel Clark who snap-called.

The queen on the turn gave Frame additional outs, but the river could not help him and Clark, who won $100,000 during the 2017 partypoker MILLIONS Russia, moved up to 2,700,000.
With the board showing Michael Chi Zhang in the small blind bet and Emma Tolley raised. Zhang called and the pot was now around 600,000.
Zhang checked to Tolley on the river and she moved all in. Her opponent immediately asked for a count and it was verified at 975,000. Zhang was talking to himself whilst counting his own stack before making the call.

Zhang's rivered two pair was not enough to beat Tolley's flush and she secured a full double up.
Terence Etim raised under the gun and got calls from Thomas Hemming, Daniel Charlton on the button and James Williams in the big blind.
The flop came . It checked to Charlton who bet 250,000 and Hemming was the only caller. The turn was the . Hemming checked and Charlton bet 450,000 with about the same amount behind. Charlton moved all in and Hemming called.

The rail called for a "nine ball" and the poker gods duly delivered, coming and handing Charlton a rivered straight.
John Leslie was down to around 300,000 when faced a raise from Robert Buky and a call from Terence Etim. Leslie moved all in and both his opponents called.
On the flop, Buky bet 250,000 into the side pot and Etim called. On the turn Etim again called a bet from Buky, this time for 450,000.
Buky moved all in on the river and Etim folded. Buky won the side pot and both players turned their cards over for the result of the main pot.

Leslie trebled up as his top pair was good enough to swoop in the main pot and keep him alive in the Main Event.
Ning Lu raised to 130,000 and Steven Morris called.
The flop came and Lu continued for 150,000. Morris called and the pair checked the turn. The river was the and Lu bet 365,000. Morris pondered a while before calling.

"I thought you had nine-ten for some reason," said Morris.
"What do you do if he raises?" tablemate Chris Sly asked Lu and Lu could only grin in response.
Daniel Morgan held and sent Paul Skipper to the rail holding after Skipper moved all in for 1,145,000. A short while later Fabio Sperling checked a river to Morgan and Morgan bet 525,000. In the last hand before the break Sperling folded and Morgan flashed for a missed straight draw.
He is the chip leader as players go on a 15-minute break.
