Day 1a of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona Warm Up was done around 21:00 on Monday, April 9th. In total there were 304 entries with 92 players bagging and tagging their chips to take to Tuesday, April 10th. Taking the honors of the chip lead for Day 1a was Patrick Clarke with 10,800,000 in chips.

Clarke seems to do well in the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Warm Up tournaments as he finished in fourth place during the MILLIONS Germany event, cashing for €69,000 in total last February. Only narrowly missing out on the chip lead was Mikalai Vaskaboinikau with 10,550,000 in chips. Closing the podium for Day 1a is Smain Mamouni with 9,200,000.

Other notable chip counts include Gianluca Speranza (5,865,000), Sander van Wesemael (5,525,000), Manuel Ruivo (5,375,000), Chris Moorman (5,345,000), Asi Moshe (5,185,000), Gaelle Baumann (5,155,000), Vojtech Ruzicka (5,565,000), and Julian Thomas with 4,450,000 in chips.

Representing the partypoker brand on Day 2 is the partypoker Chairman Mike Sexton. He bagged 1,935,000 which is below the average chip count but still gives him more than enough space to play with on Day 2. Unfortunately, not everyone managed to make it through to the partypoker representatives. Players include Dzmitry Urbanovich, Josip Simunic, Philipp Gruissem, and Marcel Luske.

Other players that also fell at one of the many hurdles today include Niall Farrell, Tobias Ziegler, Jasper Wetemans, Paul Newey, [Removed:17], Jack Salter, Martin Finger, Noah Vaillancourt, Anton Wigg, Peter Jaksland, Konstantinos Misailidis, and many others. Luckily, they still had Day 1b to try their luck.

Day 2 continues on Tuesday, April 10th, at a revised time of 12:30 local time. Players will continue on Level 13 with a small blind of 35,000, big blind of 70,000 and a button ante of 70,000.
