Brummelhuis Still Pummeling

Brummelhuis from Day 1
Brummelhuis from Day 1
From the button, Joe Cada raised to 20,000. Michiel Brummelhuis called from the big blind and the two players took a flop of {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}. Brummelhuis checked and Cada fired 24,000. Brummelhuis made the call.

The turn card was the {9-Clubs} and Brummelhuis led out for 43,000. Cada called.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Brummelhuis bet 120,000. Cada mucked his hand and Brummelhuis scooped the chips.

"Let me know when you're going to stop running over the table," mentioned Matt Marafioti to Brummelhuis. Brummelhuis just smiled as he's up to 900,000 chips. Cada dropped to 300,000.

Concert Time?

A few minutes ago, the entire ballroom was overcome with a voice singing through the speakers. All of the staff in the room where looking at each other, wondering who got a hold of a microphone and what was going on. No one seemed to know how to stop the singing or where it was coming from.

The players playing in the various events today all popped their heads up and were looking around the room with faces of "what the heck is going on" written all over them.

After about a minute of serenading us, the singing stopped and things returned to normal.

Action folded to the newest superstar on the poker scene Joe Cada, who raised from the button to 18,000. Carter Phillips was in the big blind and reraised all in for 151,000 total. Cada went into the tank for a few minutes.

"I know your range is so wide here," he said mulling over the decision. Eventually, he made the call.

Cada tabled {A-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} against Phillips' {3-Spades} {3-Clubs}.

The flop contained an ace when the {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} fell. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and the river the {4-Hearts}. Phillips was the all-in player and was sent to the rail in 12th place.

Cada won the WSOP Main Event back in November, scored a PokerStars deal and is now making a deep run here in the $25,000 PCA High Roller Event. He's up to 480,000 chips.

After Dmitry Stelmak raised to 16,000, Greg Raymer moved all in for 110,000. Stelmak made the call revealing {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}. Raymer held {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}.

A king on the flop would be all Stelmak needed to beat Raymer and send him to the rail as the board ran out {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {7-Spades}.

Stelmak moved to 405,000 chips after eliminated the 2004 WSOP Main Event champion.

Hamilton Finds Set on River

Lisa Hamilton raised to 15,000 and then Joe Cada reraised. Hamilton moved all in and Cada called.

Cada held {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} and Hamilton two nines.

The flop put Cada in the lead when it came {Q-Spades} {7-Hearts} {3-Spades}. The turn pushed Hamilton closer to the door with the {K-Hearts}, but a miracle {9-Clubs} on the river put her back in the tournament.

Hamilton doubled to 270,000 and Cada dropped to 280,000.
