The Keyes to Victory

Action folded around the table to Aage Ravn in the cutoff who opened the pot with a raise to 125,000. Harrison Gimbel made the call from the button and when the action reached Darren Keyes in the big blind, he moved all in for a total of 638,000. Ravn folded but Gimbel made the call and the following preflop showdown ensued:

Gimbel: {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Keyes: {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The board then ran out {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} giving Keyes two pair and the double up.

After the hand, Gimbel dropped to 1.2 million in chips while Keyes improved to 1.4 million.

Wayne Bentley Eliminated in 16th Place ($100,000)

Wayne Bentley - 16th Place
Wayne Bentley - 16th Place
We picked up the action on a flop of {J-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. In a heads-up pot, Tom Koral fired out 160,000 chips, and Wayne Bentley moved all in for 550,000 total. In a blink, Koral called with his covering stack, and the cards were turned up.

Showdown
Koral: {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}
Bentley: {K-Clubs} {10-Spades}

Bentley was trailing with his naked pair of tens, and he'd need to catch a card to stay alive and double up. He ended up with two pair, but the turn and river {6-Spades} and {6-Clubs} made Koral the winning aces up. Bentley parlayed his monstrous Day 1 chip lead into a remarkable deep run this week, but his efforts have fallen short in 16th place.

Gloria Balding had a nice long chat with Mr. Bentley yesterday; we think you might enjoy this video as a parting gift:

Bo Schultz Eliminated in 15th Place ($100,000)

Bo Schultz - 15th Place
Bo Schultz - 15th Place
Before the flop, Bo Schultz got his remaining 650,000 chips into the middle with {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}. He certainly would have been content to race for a double up, but Ryan D'Angelo made the call with one of the two hands that had him dominated, {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}.

The flop provided nothing more than a couple backdoor possibilities as the dealer spread out {8-Clubs} {9-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Fourth street brought a blank {8-Diamonds}, leaving Schultz dead to one of the three remaining aces in the deck. The {Q-Diamonds} on the river was not an ace at all, and Schultz has been eliminated. He'll walk away with $100,000 for his work here in the Bahamas this week.

Double or Nothing for Haugen

Matthew Haugen was all in for 865,000 preflop with {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}, and he needed to hold his pair against the {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} of chip leader Ryan D'Angelo in order to stay afloat.

The dealer smiled on the at-risk Haugen as he ran out a board of {3-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. That's safe and clean for Haugen, and he's doubled his way up close to 1.9 million.

Gimbel Doubles Through Ravn

Harrison Gimbel opened with a raise to 165,000 from under the gun and when the action reached Aage Ravn in the big blind, he moved all in over the top putting Gimbel to a decision for all of his chips. Gimbel made the call (1.505 million) and a showdown soon followed:

Gimbel: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Ravn: {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The board then ran out {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Gimbel's jacks held up to win the pot.

After the hand, Gimbel was back up over the three million mark in chips while Ravn dropped to 2.1 million.

Richard Toth Eliminated in 14th Place ($115,000)

Richard Toth - 14th Place
Richard Toth - 14th Place
Benjamin Zamani opened to 135,000 on the button, and Darren Keyes quickly folded the small blind. In the big, though, Richard Toth grabbed all 840,000 of his chips and shoved them into the middle. Zamani didn't waste any time making the call with his covering stack, and Toth was now in jeopardy of elimination.

And the news wasn't good when the cards were tabled. Zamani rolled over {6-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, and Toth was in a bad spot with his lowly {5-Clubs} {6-Spades}. The board was dry and anticlimactic as it ran out {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {4-Hearts} {4-Spades}.

Unable to find any help from the dealer, Richard Toth is out in 14th place. He'll take a pay bump up to $115,000 as he departs.
