Buchanan Doubles Up Brenes, Then Busts

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 2,000 ante

We arrived at the table with 63,000 chips already in the pot and the rest of Team PokerStars Pro Humberto Brenes chips in front of him. The all-in bet was for 217,000 to Shawn Buchanan and he was in the tank. FInally, Buchanan made the call and saw the bad news.

Brenes tabled the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and was ahead of the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for Buchanan. After the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Brenes doubled to 500,000 and Buchanan was left with just one single T1,000 chip.

That chip was just enough to cover the ante and Buchanan was all in on the next hand. Bryan Colin raised to 20,000 preflop and knocked everyone else out to leave his {J-Hearts}{10-Spades} up against Buchanan's {Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Buchanan was sent packing.
