The River is Nice to Katchalov

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 2,000 ante

From under the gun, Andrew Robl raised to 26,000. Eugene Katchalov defended from the big blind and the two saw the flop come down {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Katchalov check-called a 30,000-chip continuation bet to see the {7-Clubs} fall on the turn.

On the turn, Katchalov checked again. Robl fired 80,000 and got called. The river then completed the board with the {9-Spades} Katchalov checked and Robl fired 230,000. Katchalov made the call holding the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a rivered two pair. Robl held the {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a flopped two pair.

Katchalov's hand was best and he improved to 960,000 chips thanks to a very nice river card. Robl dropped to 140,000.
