Daniel Cates opened the pot with a raise, and Jason Mercier three-bet him from the button. Pretty run of the mill so far, but Cates had the look of agony on his face. It was two or three minutes before he folded, and Mercier couldn't resist.
"Tournaments are frustrating, huh?" he asked with a smirk.
Cates just winced and shook his head, dropping to 245,000 with his fold.
