Robl Run Out

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 2,000 ante

First in from the button, Andrew Robl moved his short stack of 109,000 chips into the middle. Small blind James Obst didn't have much more than that, and he reraised all in for about 120,000 himself. Big blind Nick Schulman considered calling light for a chance at the double knockout, but he eventually talked himself into a fold to let the other to duke it out.

Showdown
Robl: {K-Spades} {K-Hearts}
Obst: {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs}

The flop was about as good an ace-free flop as Obst could ask for, coming {3-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts} to make him the favorite with two to come. The turn {6-Spades} gave him even one more out to the win, and he'd find one of them on the river. The {9-Hearts} dropped off the deck to give Obst the flush and the knockout, nearly doubling up in the process.

"Fun playing with you guys," Robl mumbled as he quickly stood and scurried out the door. He probably meant it, but there was no love to be found in Robl's voice as he's now $100,000 lighter in the wallet.
