Binger Collects Four Bounties on Way to Round 2

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Todd Terry moved all in for his last 12,500 with {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and was called by the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} of Nick Binger. The {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop gave Terry a pair but also supplied Binger with a set. Terry was left drawing dead when the {7-Diamonds} hit the turn and shook Binger's hand. The {8-Spades} was put out on the river for good measure as Binger, who collected four bounties, advanced to Round 2.

Hey, Jude!

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jude Ainsworth has just finished off Matthew Jarvis to advance to round two.

Jarvis raised the button with {10-Hearts} {J-Hearts}, and Ainsworth three-bet him with {A-Spades} {9-Spades}. Jarvis called, and the flop came {3-Spades} {J-Spades} {6-Spades}. Bingo for Ainsworth. He bet and Jarvis called, and Ainsworth bet again after the {Q-Hearts} turn. Jarvis shoved drawing dead, and the river {6-Hearts} has finished that match off.

We'll see Ainsworth tomorrow as well.

Negreanu and Koon Eliminated Just Before the Break

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We caught the tail-end of Jason Koon's elimination hand where he held {9-}{9-} on a {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-} board. Unfortunately, Daniel Colman held {Q-}{Q-}. The money went in sometime before the river, so it is no surprise Koon was extremely unhappy with his opponent's rivered set.

Around the same time, Daniel Negreanu moved all in for his last 10,000 or so with {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and was called by the {J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} of Amichai Tzvi Barer. "I'm drawing live," Negreanu said as the flop came down {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, giving him the lead with a pair of fives.

"Oh-oh, diamond," Negreanu chirped when the dealer burned and turned the {A-Diamonds}. Sure enough, the river was the {9-Diamonds} and Tzvi Barer hit a flush. Negreanu was sent to the rail with one bounty.

Busto or Robusto

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,000 ante

Mohsin Charania has just been defeated by Daniel Coleman.

A few tables over, Marko Neumann has also taken care of Alexander Timman in their heads-up battle. It was a three-bet pot preflop, and Timman shoved after it came {A-Clubs} {10-Spades} {8-Spades}. Neumann called with {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts}, and Timman's {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} was in bad shape to give him a double.

The {Q-Hearts} turn put the possibility of a split pot into play, but the river {2-Hearts} meant Neumann's kicker played. He gets the pot, the bounty, and a ticket to round two.

Also advancing is Ville Wahlbeck who beat his fellow Team PokerStars Pro Andre Akkari to earn his Day 2 seat.
