Roy Shoves

Andrey Shatilov held {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and opened to 200,000 from the cutoff. Owen Crowe three-bet to 450,000 with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} from the button and Jonathan Roy moved all in from the big blind. Roy was all in for his last 1.7 million and held {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

Shatilov quickly released and Crowe tanked for about a minute before following suit and throwing his cards away.

Dion and Shatilov Chop

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

After a series of raises Yann Dion was all in and at risk before the flop for his last 1.54 million. Dion held {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} against the {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts} of Andrey Shatilov.

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and the straight on board ensured that the two players would chop the pot.

Joao Nogueira Eliminated in 8th Place ($165,900)

Joao Nogueira - 8th Place
Joao Nogueira - 8th Place

Joel Micka opened to 200,000 from the cutoff. Joao Nogueira shipped all in from the small blind for his last 1.375 million and Micka called.

Micka: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Nogueira: {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The flop brought {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Micka's queens were out in the lead. Fourth street was the {K-Spades} and Nogueira needed help on the river to stay alive. Unfortunately for the $1.10 qualifier, the river was the {J-Spades} and he was sent to the rail as our 8th place finisher.

Wong Doubles Through Crowe

Owen Crowe raised to 200,000 in middle position with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Jerry Wong re-raised all in for 1.565 million from the hijack with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. Action folded back to Crowe who called after a few moments.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to pair Crowe, but he'd need to catch another jack to knock out Wong. It didn't happen as the {6-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river secured the double up for Wong.
