Ole Schemion, 20 from Germany, enters the final table fifth in chips, but first in age. The youngster has already amassed over $2.1 million in career live tournament earnings, winning the 2012 Masters Classics of Poker in Amsterdam for $368,895, and then winning the 2012 Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, pocketing $1,474,671. He also has two other firsts, winning side events at EPT Berlin in both 2011 ($77,138) and 2012 ($90,075).
If Schemion wins today, he would have over $3.5 million in career live tournament earnings, which would be quite a feat for a 20-year old player.
Vladimir Troyanovskiy, 39 from Russia, enters the final table second in chips. Troyanovskiy has already had success at the tenth anniversary PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, finishing seventh in the $100,000 Super High Roller ($257,580). Prior to the 2013 PCA, Troyanovskiy’s largest career cash was for $29,983, which he earned for finishing 27th in the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event.
Troyanovskiy would nearly double his career live tournament earnings with a fourth-place finish in this event, and more than quadruple them with a win.
Shaun Deeb, 26 from the United States, enters the final table as the chip leader with more than 25 percent of the chips in play. Deeb has amassed nearly $1.9 million in career live tournament earnings, including a runner-up finish in the $5,000 Bounty Shootout ($75,000) held at the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Deeb’s largest cash to date came in the star-studded, $25,300 mega satellite into the $1 Million Big One for One Drop this past summer, where he finished runner-up earning a tournament buy-in. The event was capped however, so Deeb pocketed the million dollars.
Deeb is more known for his dominance on the virtual felt – in 2012 he won four SCOOP titles, he has won two-career WCOOP bracelets, and he has also earned an FTOPS jersey.
Deeb is guaranteed to take home $129,940 at this final table, making it the second-largest live cash of his career, but with the chip lead, he’ll be gunning for the win.
