Celestino Triples; Julius Busts

Ariel Celestino opened-jammed for 7,250 from early position, Antonio Esfandiari called in the cutoff, and Ryan Julius three-bet to 14,000 on the button. The action folded back to Esfandiari, who moved all in having Julius covered.

Julius tanked for nearly two minutes, then committed his 40,000-chip stack.

"Bad timing," Esfandiari said, turning over two aces.

Esfandiari: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Celestino: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Julius: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

There were a few Brazilians around sweating Celestino, and they all burst into cheers when the flop fell {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn gave Julius an open-ended straight draw, but the {10-Hearts} bricked on the river.

Celestino raked in the smaller main pot, tripling to 25,000 chips or so, while Esfandiari pulled in the larger side pot, and now sits with over 100,000 chips.

Julius is eliminated.
