Prager Peaces Out

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Josh Prager - Eliminated
Josh Prager - Eliminated

Kyle Sorel opened to 25,000 from early position, Josh Prager three-bet all in for 104,000 out of the small blind, and Sorel called.

Sorel: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Prager: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop changed nothing, but the {q-Diamonds} spiked on the turn, giving Sorel a pair of queens. The {j-Hearts} on the river was no help to Prager, and he exited the main stage to go and collect his winnings.

Lining His Pockets with Silver

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Max Silver has scored yet another elimination this level, as James St Hilaire has fallen at his hands.

St Hilaire's final hand began when Silver opened to 25,000 from early position. Action folded around to St Hilaire in the small blind and he announced a 190,000 all in bet. Silver called with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and was racing with St Hilaire's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Silver's tens remained in the lead. The {Q-Spades} fell on the turn, leaving St Hilaire searching for an ace or a king on the river. The {5-Clubs} was what finished the board, though, and St Hilaire was sent to the rail. Silver dragged in the pot and now sits on 2 million in chips.

Silver Sends Almeida Packing

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Renato Almeida raised to 25,000 from UTG+1 and action folded all of the way around to start-of-day chip leader Max Silver in the small blind. He popped it up to 66,000 and it came back to Almeida who four-bet shipped all in for 310,000. Silver called and the hands were revealed.

Almeida showed {A-Spades}{J-Spades} but needed to improve against Silver's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The dealer produced a board that read {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}, failing to improve Almeida's hand and eliminating him from play.

Silver raked in the chips and now has about 1.77 million to his name.
