Bedell Staying Involved

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 60,000 from the hijack and Gianluca Speranza defended from the big blind. The flop came {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Speranza check-called a bet of 80,000 from Bedell. The turn brought the {6-Spades} and both players checked to the {9-Hearts} on the river. Speranze led out for 180,000 and Bedell snapped him off. Speranza tabled {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Bedell showed {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to scoop the pot.

In the next hand, Bedell opened to 60,000 again and Martin Zamani three-bet to 250,000. Bedell used up a time bank before making the call. The flop fell {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Bedell check-folded to a bet of 145,000 from Zamani.

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised on the button to 60,000, Martin Zamani made it 415,000 in the small blind and Bedell shoved all in. Zamani didn't seem thrilled about it but he called for around 1.9 million.

Martin Zamani: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Tom-Aksel Bedell: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board came {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Zamani doubled into the chip lead.

Another Big One for Bedell

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 55,000 on the button and was called by Martin Zamani in the small blind and Dominik Nitsche in the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} which started up some action between all three players.

It checked to Bedell who continued for 80,000 and Zamani just called. Nitsche used a time bank before raising to 300,000. Both Bedell and Zamani called to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Zamani and Nitsche both checked again and Bedell tossed in a bet of 450,000. Zamani instantly folded and Nitsche gave it some thought but laid his hand down as well.

With that, two levels have completed and the remaining six players are taking a 15-minute break in the action.

Bedell Back to Heaps

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Thomas Muehloecker opened for 55,000 in middle position and got three callers, with a {5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop hitting the felt. Action checked to Gianluca Speranza in the cutoff and he bet 65,000. Both small blind Tom-Aksel Bedell and big blind Martin Zamani stuck around. The blinds checked to Speranza again on the {k-Hearts} and he bet 225,000. That narrowed the field to just he and Bedell. The {4-Clubs} river checked through.

"I would call you all in with this hand," Bedell proclaimed, tabling the {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, which was a winner.

"I was thinking you would call all in but now that you say that, I think you fold," Speranza said with a laugh.

Zamani Spikes an Ace to Double Up

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 55,000 on the button and Thomas Muehloecker three-bet to 215,000 out of the big blind. Zamani instantly shipped all in for 1,090,000 and Muehloecker called just as fast.

Martin Zamani: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Muehloecker was way out front with his pocket queens but the flop of {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} gave Zamani his three-outer. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the river brought the {8-Diamonds} as Zamani scored a huge double up.

Thomas Muehloecker bet 70,000 from middle position on an {8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop and Tom-Aksel Bedell check-raised to 265,000 in the small blind. Muehloecker continued to the {a-Diamonds} turn. The Austrian then called another 370,000. The {3-Diamonds} hit the river and Bedell slowed down with a check. Muehloecker used a time bank then bet 700,000. Bedell didn't think long before releasing.
