Zhang Sheng limped into the pot from middle position and the action folded around to Hongdi Zhao on the button, who decided to apply some pressure with a raise to 1,500.
Yang Zhang made the call from the small blind but Sheng decided not to call off the extra 1,000 and folded to take play heads-up to a flop.
Zhang checked it over to Zhao, who checked it right back and the hit the turn, bringing a bet of 2,500 from Zhang, which Zhao quickly called and it was off to the river.
Zhang continued trying to sell the story and fired for 3,200 and Zhao called immediately. Being as Zhang was the last aggressor she had to show first and turned over the pretty looking for a missed straight draw meaning Zhao’s ace-high was enough to win him the pot.

Singapore’s Alex Lee is busily building a stack with some canny positional play and we caught him involved in a hand with tablemate Chin Hao Hsa.
Action folded around to Lee on the button and he made it 1,200 to go and Hsa chose to defend from the big blind taking play heads-up to a flop of .
First to act Hsa decided to seize the initiative and led out for a close to pot-sized 2,000 bet. Lee looked a little perplexed and decided to test the waters with a raise reaching for several different colored chips for a rainbow re-raise of 4,775 in total.
Hsa made the call and the dealer turned over the turn, which brought a check from Hsa and a bet of 6,500 from Lee, which was enough to win the pot.

The 49 remaining players are on their second 10-minute break of the day.
With the tournament’s two current big stacks – USA’s Benjamin Hamnett and China’s Jun Wang on the same table – this is where all the chips are at present. We’ve already seen Wang throwing around some beefy p three-bets to take down several pots uncontested pre-flop but are not sure how Hamnett has got all of his chips.
We were lurking near their table hoping to discover some of Mr. Hamnett’s trade secrets but got an interesting three-way hand between China’s Yang Huanhuan and Shenyu Li and India’s Bobbie Suri.
Pre-flop it was Li who was the initial aggressor, popping the action up to 1,000 from middle position, with Suri making the call from the next seat over. Li, sitting in the h-jack, re-raised to 2,500 in total, but this did not have the required effect of thinning the field as both Li and Suri made the call.
It went three-way to a flop of and both Li and Suri checked it over to Huanhuan, who fired for another 3,000, leaving himself 21,100 behind. Both Li and Suri have Huanhuan covered and both called once again to keep the action three-handed as the landed on the turn, completing a possible club flush.
Li and Suri checked again, and Huanhuan did not look too thrilled about that turn card and checked it right back. The the floated in on the river and
that was it for the betting in the hand with all three players checking.
Li turned over for two pair – aces and kings – and both Suri and Huanhuan mucked leaving Li to sweep in a decent pot.
