Erik Seidel Eliminated in 2nd Place ($576,000)

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Erik Seidel - 2nd Place
Erik Seidel - 2nd Place

The two players agreed to go to 15-minute levels and to immediately move on to the next one.

In the first hand, Bryn Kenney raised to 200,000 and then called off when Erik Seidel moved all in.

Seidel: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Kenney: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

It was a flip for nearly all the chips, and much to his delight, Kenney held after the board ran out {2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Seidel was left with just 40,000 after the hand.

In the very next hand, Seidel tripled up (Kenney paid the ante as the big blind), and in the hand after that doubled yet again.

In what would be the final hand of the tournament, Seidel got his short stack all in with the {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} against the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} of Kenney. There would be no miracle this time as the board ran out {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} to send Seidel home in second place for $576,000.
