Caleb Osterman Takes a Hit

Caleb Osterman just fell victim to one of the worst cold-decks in poker-- set over set. In a 20,000 pot with the board reading T-7-4-7-3, both Osterman and his opponent flopped sets and turned full houses, Osterman holding pocket fours and his opponent pocket tens. He's down to about 5,000 in chips.

Graeme 'Kiwi G' Putt Eliminated

Michael Marcos moved all in for 8,000 from the button and Graeme Putt called off his remaining 5,500 from the big blind. Marcos turned over {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and was in bad shape against Putt's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, with Putt maintaining his lead, but Marcos picked up a gutshot straight draw. The turn was the {K-Diamonds}, but the river was the {5-Hearts}, making Marcos' straight and eliminating Putt from the tournament.

Dennis Huntly Up to 26K

After a player opened the pot with A-8, and a second player flat-called with A-K, Dennis Huntly moved all in with Q-T in an attempt to push both of them out of the pot. The player with A-K made the call and Huntly would need some help on the board. The flop was 9-8-5, giving Huntly a gutshot straight draw, and the J on the turn filled it, making him the nuts. He's now up to 26,000 in chips.
