Quel Crippled Again, But Rises From the Dead

If Rainer Quel lacks a poker nickname, perhaps he should consider "Lazarus," as he keeps rising from the dead.

Quel and Billy the Croc hooked up again, taking a stud hand all the way to the river. The Croc made a seven high straight and all Quel could show down was a pair of nines. That hand crippled him to only 34,000 in chips.

On the very next deal, Martin Harvey completed to 6,000, Quel raised, Harvey re-raised and Quel called. On fourth Harvey bet, Quel raised all in and Harvey called.
